Calculating the Value of Your League of Legends Profile

Ever wondered how much your League of Legends profile is worth or how much you could sell it for? It's not common for everyone to consider selling their beloved Riot account, but it's not unheard of these days. Some players prefer to capitalize on their profiles rather than letting them fade into oblivion. However, selling your account is a decision that needs careful consideration because once sold, it cannot be reclaimed.

What Level is the Profile?

The calculation is simple: the more it saves the buyer from grinding, the more valuable it is. Higher levels can increase the profile's price by an extra $10-$20.

How Many Champions and Skins Are There?

Players spend the most on in-game cosmetics, so a profile with numerous skins is typically more valuable. Not just any skins, but the hero, the popularity of the skin line, and the rarity of the cosmetics also play significant roles. Some skins alone could be worth hundreds of dollars, such as limited skins distributed during PAX and Gamescom and the ranked reward skins called Victorious skins.

  • Silver Kayle
  • Young Ryze
  • Black Alistar
  • Rusty Blitzcrank
  • UFO Corki
  • King Rammus
  • Riot Squad Singed
  • Judgement Kayle
  • Soulstealer Vayne
  • Lancer Zero Hecarim
  • Dreadnova Darius
  • Dark Star Cho’Gath
  • Victorious skins - Jarvan IV, Janna, Elise, Morgana, Sivir, Maokai, Graves, Orianna, Aatrox, Lucian, Blitzcrank, Sejuani
  • Hextech skins
  • PAX skins - Twisted Fate, Jax, Sivir, Neo Pax Sivir
  • Urfwick

What Rank is it?

Climbing the ranked ladder is no easy feat, so naturally, buyers tend to look for profiles in higher tiers. Profiles in Platinum, Emerald, and Diamond ranks are highly valued, and even a Master or Challenger account without any other features could fetch between $100 to $200. Surprisingly, even Iron profiles can be valuable, priced between $50 and $100 for those seeking to undertake challenges from Iron to Challenger. However, ranked placements only last for the season and revert afterwards, which can decrease their value.

Which Server?

The League of Legends game is divided into over ten servers aligned with different countries and regions. Due to regional differences, the price of profiles varies. Profiles on larger and more popular servers such as Korea, North America, Western Europe, and China are valued higher.

How Much RP and Blue Essence is Available?

Since RP and Blue Essence can be used to purchase champions and cosmetics, the more a profile has, the more valuable it will likely be.

Some Specific Examples

To give a clearer picture of what League of Legends profiles might be worth, here are a few examples provided by Dot Esports:

  • KR, Challenger, 55 champions, 14 skins, 80 RP - $1,250
  • EUW, Platinum III, 129 champions, 30 skins (including Victorious Elise and Judgement Kayle), 239,000 Blue Essence - $82
  • NA, Master, 20 champions, 17 skins, 200 RP - $600
  • KR, Diamond II, 206 champions, 4,100 RP - $310
  • NA, Iron III, 99 champions, 24 skins - $120

In summary, the value of a League of Legends profile can vary greatly based on its level, the number and rarity of skins, ranked placement, server location, and available in-game currencies. Assessing these factors can help determine how much a profile could potentially fetch on the market.
